CHCSS00114 Entry into Care Roles Skill Set equips learners with the skills and knowledge required to provide basic client care, and support fully qualified carers within aged care and disability support environments. It provides an entry level employment pathway into the care sector.

If you enjoy working with people and the benefits of flexible working arrangements and conditions, then this course will help you achieve your goals.

Two units you will study provide credit toward CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support and other qualifications that allow for selection of these units.

Requirements

CHCSS00114 Entry into Care Roles Skill Set is available for groups and can be completed either in a classroom setting or online. For the unit HLTINF006 Apply basic principles and practices of infection prevention and control, skills must be demonstrated in a workplace setting. This Skill Set is available upon request and delivered in a mode that best suits the needs of your group. Please contact our friendly team to discuss how we can get you started.

Those who are currently working or have worked in a relevant industry, may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Please give us a call and we can talk through your particular needs with you.
